The preparations for the next ewoca³ year have begun. In March of this year already, the ewoca³ project planning congress 2014 takes place in Hattingen. More than 40 project partners and experts from a total of 14 European countries are expected. At the congress they will prepare the projects for the summer, exchange on best practice examples and dicuss a number of topics in international youth work. The guiding theme of this year’s congress will be “participation”. True to this motto, the event will be organised as a “barcamp”. This

Follow-up meeting of the ewocis in Hagen

On Saturday, 12th of October 2013, the follow-up meeting of the youths from North-Rhine Westphalia took place at the Friedenshaus, the youth club of Falken Hagen. About 30 young people from 7 different camps took part in the event. The participants utilised posters, photos, videos and great stories to present their camp experiences this summer. There was a lot of laughter and many wished to be back in their summer memories. On Sunday, 28th of July, the international ewoca³ workcamp “imPULSE” commenced in Cologne-Stammheim. Within the framework of the two-week youth encounter, young people from France and Ukraine are guests of the Cologne youths, for all of them to renovate the facilities of Open Door St. John. The Workcamps have started!

And here we go again! The first workcamps just started last weekend and in this way are announcing the new camp season! Last Saturday, the young people from Agricola e.V. in Dortmund were the first. They travelled to Italy to build a nature trail, together with youths from Belarus and Italy. On Monday the participants from Gütersloh travelled to Belarus. On Saturday the 13rd of July 2013 participants from 10 cities of North Rhine-Westphalia met in Oberhausen to present their projects of 2013. The 240 youngsters​  participating in the ewoca programme in 2013 have plenty of ideas for this summer: They will renovate youth centers in Lithuania, Turkey and Germany and create places for encounters in France and Italy. International meeting in Hattingen/Germany: 36 youth work organisations from 14 countries prepare for international workcamps

Until sunday representatives of 36 youth work organisations from 14 countries are meeting in Hattingen. Together they prepare a project with a European scope: During the summer break they organise twelve international youth encounters all over the continent. At each of these workcamps youths from North Rhine-Westphalia together with young people from two other European countries will make one concrete project a reality. The about 240 youths participating in the ewoca³ programme this year have a lot on their plate: They want to renovate youth centres in Lithuania, Turkey and
