On Saturday the 13rd of July 2013 participants from 10 cities of North Rhine-Westphalia met in Oberhausen to present their projects of 2013. The 240 youngsters​  participating in the ewoca programme in 2013 have plenty of ideas for this summer: They will renovate youth centers in Lithuania, Turkey and Germany and create places for encounters in France and Italy. In Romania they will build a nature trail, in Cyprus they will erect a monument of peace and in Belarus they even build a traditional sauna.

Dr. Angelica Schwall-Düren, Minister for Federal Affairs, Europa and the Media also complimented on the engagement of the youngsters. “The youths at the ewoca​§ workcamps bring the European idea to life. Europe does not just happen in commissions in Brussels, but for many is appreciable only in concrete experiences close by”, Minister Schwall-Düren emphasised.
