The Association for International Education and Exchange (IBB) starts a reissue with 12 project partnerships

ewoca³ — the support programme for youth facilities from North Rhine-Westphalia — is starting the next phase in 2012 with 12 project partners from ten cities in North Rhine-Westphalia. The programme enables adolescents meetings with adolescents of the same age from Europe. Every project partnership offers young people the pos-sibility to work together with other young Europeans on a project in three following years in three different countries.

Young people from three countries work together hand in hand on a non-profit project

For the new project phase youth facilities from communal, churchly and free funding bodies were chosen. In trilateral partnerships the participating institutions realise three international youth meetings in the coming three years on the topic “Education for Sustainable Development„. Every single one of the twelve partnerships will be re-alising a camp, in which the adolescents plan and carry out a non-profit project autonomously. The support programme enables 36 youth meetings in 14 different countries.

ewoca³ — The supporting programme

ewoca³ is a project of the registered association IBB, promoted by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Mercator foundation. The programme is more than just a line of funding for international youth meetings. In addition to the camps the project contains a substantial supporting programme, which gives further education to experts of youth work on an international level. The kick-off event of the programme was the project planing congress from the 19th until the 22nd of February 2012 in Hattingen.
