Our work during the camp was cleaning up the deserted protestant graveyard, which was used by the German population who used to live here. It was hard and heavy work; we first had to dig up the ground to reach the deepest roots. The dug-up weeds were then collected by hand. Digging up all the roots was especially important for our work to be sustainable, and the graveyard not being covered with weeds again. Continue reading Work at the graveyard

Movie Park!

Yeeey! We finally went to Movie Park! Oh God! We’ve been waiting to this all the time. We travelled here by train. It was much more comfortable than riding a bus. We arrived here and we were shocked how long queue can be. But we don’t regret standing in those queues. All that rollercoasters and attractions were just wonderful! We felt down from 58 meters and we have seen all our lives in that 2 seconds. We were thankful to God, that we could see earth again. Our adrenaline got really high level. The most funny part was, when we were in the top of that “death tower”and everyone were scared and silence – I looked at another part of Movie Park and told to my friend “Look! After that we can go there” and I pointed a small space with water (which was really cool!). We left it so happy. We even saw a parade with Spongebob and Patrick!

4 days of hard work

Uff… so… we finally did the hard work and renovation of the Jugendszentrum is done. That was the main objective of the project. We renewed walls, stairs, doors and ceilings. We also painted the benches outside. Garden got a new live. We bought a new sofa, which is much better than old one. It was so hard to do this because of a small place and a lot of people who were inside, but at least we made a really good work. We`ve been working with cool people and cool music. Painting was really funny. We all were in paint. Someone even were drawing a smiles on our t-shirts. All of us did something. Even those small things, like painting corners or washing brushes were really important.

Amsterdam

Martin made us a suprise. Suddenly at the dinner he told us that we are going to Amsterdam. We were so happy and excited. So in the morning we jumped into the bus and had a 4 hours ride to city of broken umbrellas and wet clothes. First we were walking arround the city, enjoing our time and buying souvenirs. After that we had a lunch. But it was a really hard way. The wind was really strong (about 80km/h, but it fells like 10000000 km/h ) and rain was pouring like we were in the shower. At 3.00 pm we met in the front of Madam Tussauds museum. We come inside all wet. But we will never forget how realistic were the figures. We had some photos with celebrites.
