Day 10-13

This three days was last and was full of preparing to presentations which took place in Nafplio! All presentations was interesting and offering interesting ideas and solutions for different problems.

BBQ day on island Daskaleia was little sad, because no one wants said “Good bye” to people, who he met and done friendship during camp. To people who he met two years ago and stayed with them till this this camp. This years was cool and interesting thanks to all participants!

Day 9 (Elevator and party)

This day was full of emotions because of two things: the elevator game and a little party! The Elevator game, was about us speaking in public, which was very difficult for most of us to do! In this exercise, members of EWOCA had to introduce to our “expert” their project during one minute.

But after this test our participants went to a little Greek party. It was very-very fun and interesting! All members of our family were dancing and having ‘Greek’ fun!

On this day we visited a little olive oil plant. It was interesting to learn how olive oil is produced and how to choose the best olive oil!

Then we went to a small city named Nafplio. It’s about 10 kilometres from Tolo. This city is not big, but has a lot of interesting places and local sights!

Day 5-7 (Lecture and theatre)

During this days our participants listened to lectures of experts from Fably start-up. It was amazing because our members found a lot of problems of their countries and a lot of solutions for this problems! And with the help of the experts they tried to write their own business plans for their own projects.

On the evening of the sixth day all members of EWOCA camp visited the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, performance called “Oedipus At Colonus”.  Everyone was astonished by the action, the actor play and by the place where the performance took place!

In fourth day participants also saw inner world of real business, which based on apiary, which located not far from Tolo! Owner, whose name is Janis, have showed us his apiary and narrate information about bees. Then, members moved to Janis’ “laboratory”. He showed and narrate the process of making of natural honey. Everyone was impressed by this excursion!

Time to say Goodbye and “See you next year in Greece”

In the morning we visited the Belarusian Second World War museum, and after eating lunch at the museum’s cafeteria, we headed at a cultural site, where we had our final evaluation.

IMG_1595 IMG_1608Then, after dinner and some free time, we headed at the train terminal to say goodbye to the German team. It was a difficult time for me because I got emotional and cried all the time. It was beautiful that all the participants were touched and hugged each other.

IMG_1755 a4 a5 a6 a7We even played a traditional Belarusian game at the train terminal, just in front of the train, as a goodbye to the guys.a3

At dawn’s first light, the last team to leave Belarus were the Greeks. We headed to the airport. The feelings were so strong, but the tears didn’t break out till we reached Athens.

Ecology in Belarus and final Goodbye-Party

In the morning we had our last workshop, called “Ecology in Belarus”, with a specialist on environment. He talked about the relations between Belarus and other countries on the field of environment, and  about some locally produced stuff, especially cosmetics, which were found out to be potentially dangerous for people.

IMG_1416After lunch, we went at a place so called “creative hub” where we stayed till night and had our photo exhibition and final goodbye party.

IMG_8245 IMG_8244 IMG_8268 IMG_8278There Nikita, Zheka and Mitya, participants from the belarussian group, played live music. We ordered many pizzas, played a pantomime game to remember together the time in the camp, we hugged and cried…

a2Every participant of EWOCA took a picture and presented it here to everyone. My photo pictured me, staring out of a window at the Nesvizh castle, and I chose it because it will always bring back memories of the camp and also of the girl that took the picture.
